First steps

I assembled the bin. I had 2 nuts and 2 washers left, but I think I know where the washers were supposed to go. I would have had to disassemble the whole tumbler to add them, so decided it will just have to do without them.

I set it up outside of my garage near the alley, but still 2 feet away from the alley. My garage is facing the sun, so it will get lots of light. My hose does not go that far, though, so I will have to use a watering can. Since we only need to add a little water, I think it will be fine.
I put my first layer of browns and greens, added a little water, and have been turning it 3 times every day. Time to do some more weeding now!
