Tell us your idea for applying Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) to a part of our city. Be sure to include the following information:

1. Where have you felt unsafe in our city?
2. What physical characteristics of this space or place make you feel unsafe?
3. How can the City invest in the look and feel of this place or space to make it safer?

For our capital improvement budget we can only fund ideas that are related to infrastructure owned and maintained by the city. Also, your proposed investment must be something that will last 10 years or more. Please focus your ideas on investments in public infrastructure that will help enhance safety. Examples of investments that are NOT eligible for capital funding include: increases or decreases to department staffing, investments or changes to private property such as homes or businesses, trimming or removing trees or plantings (although planting new trees or bushes may be eligible).
