February is Black History Month, a time to honor the contributions of Black individuals and reflect on the ongoing fight for equity, justice, and inclusion. This year’s theme, "African Americans in Labor," inspired by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), invites us to recognize the vital role of Black workers and labor organizers throughout history.

The City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County are proud to host a series of events that celebrate this legacy, empower Black workers, and explore ways to create a more inclusive workforce for the future. We encourage all residents, employees, and community members to join us in these impactful discussions, activities, and celebrations!
