About our Presenters

Shawnte' Williams "Daughter of Ra"

Shawnte’ Williams is a holistic herbalist. She began her love of herbs as a little girl running around in her Granny’s garden. Every morning, they would go out in the garden, and sing, talk and care for all of the wonderful magical plants growing there. Her Granny would teach her the temperaments of each plant, the proper placements for them, how to nurture and care for the soil so they can grow and thrive. She was full of questions and her Granny always seemed to have all the answers for her young curious mind. They would spend endless hours in the morning working in the garden, and even more time in their sunroom and kitchen; This is where the magic happened. They would dry herbs, canned fresh fruits, make tinctures and bitters, as well as prepare meals for the family.

Using natural remedies for common colds, fevers, and illnesses were second nature to her family. They hardly ever got sick and words like holistic or herbalism did not exist in their vocabulary, it was just their way of life. That was just how her Granny did it, and her Great Granny did it and her Great Great Granny. Generations of homeopathic practices being passed down organically, practices brought to the western world from Central Africa.

Answering the call to carry on the family traditions in homeopathic practices, alone with her love and passion for plants and their magical properties is how she shares with her community, just like her Granny did. Shawnte' believes that everyone has the power to heal themselves if given the knowledge to do so, as well as, creating an environment internally and externally for healing to take place. Shawnte' is humbly grateful to be of service to you and your family and she is honored that our paths have crossed. Let’s share space together. Sending you the warmest light of Ra!
